Roof definition

There is no particular roof definition. It can be said that the most upper portion of a building house is known as a roof. There are many ways by which one can build a roof. The architectural design of a building depends on the imagination but roof styles not only limited to the imagination but it also depends on the physical laws and the available materials. The style fashion of a building house depends upon the structure of a roof. There is no such roof definition by which one can be made his roof, but there are some types of roof existed in the society. These are as follows:

Gable roof

Gable roof most probably the simplest design we ever have seen. The gable roof is deliberation to invent from the earliest roofs that were uncomplicated constructions of brushwood or wood inclination at angles to design a triangular hut. The gable roof characteristics are of two sloping sides and those two sides conjoin in the center of a building/ house roof. The two sloping sides are identical i.e. the two sloping sides are of the same width, length and of equal angles. Without a doubt, it will come into view as a proportioned triangle above the body of a house/building.

Cross Gable Roof

A cross gabled roof is to some extent more complex in nature than a gable roof. The only reason is that two gable roof sections assemble at an accurate angle. Cross gable roofs have two or more gable roofs conjointly; they come together at accurate angles. Many traditional homes/ buildings have this style. This style makes the homes buildings more stylish and fashionable.

Simple Hip Roof

A simple hip roof is also common type roof. The hip roof has two identical angles slopes and they meet in the center of the building. Nevertheless, the ends are not flat.

Cross Hipped

The cross hipped roof pursues the design of the cross-gabled roof. It also pursues the design of the hipped. The cross hipped roof hysterics on a building which have outer walls of the identical height.

Pyramid Hip Roof

A pyramid hip roof is extremely analogous with a simple hip with the additional characteristic of four equivalent triangular sides which meet at the middle.

Flat Roofing

Flat roofs are flattering more well-liked with contemporary architectural design. Attributing only a trivial angle to get better water drainage, flats needs fewer material so it becomes economical to construct. Except these there are also other type of roof design exists. Those are Saltbox, Gambrel, and Mansard etc. This is all about roof definition.
